Booklets for day stationery
Traditional Booklets are a folded card cover with paper pages inside. They are not to be confused with our booklet invitations which look more like a cheque book and have all card pages and can be seen here. They are available with 4, 8 or 12 pages and are normally held together with staples. Typically these are a5 in size (21 by 14.8 cm) although a mini version half the size (A6) can also be produced with either 4 or 8 pages in.
If you are having a religious ceremony it is normal for the text to be approved by a priest (or relevant alternative). This not only makes sure the text matches what the service. Permission is often needed to reproduce any readings, hymns and prayers as they may be copyrighted material.
These booklets are normally sold as Orders of Service, Order of the Day / Programs and Menus for the table.
Orders of Service can be short summaries and only need a couple of pages. Alternately it can be the complete ceremony which normally means 5-8 pages of A5. If you have space you can also include information on the bridal party and the program for the day.
Orders of the Day / Programs tend to be used for non-religious ceremonies. They often incorporate information about the ceremony like readings, the schedule for the day and who is in the bridal party.
Menus detail the food and drink being served. This doesn’t have to be because your guests have any choice on the day, often it’s to remind them what it is they will be eating.
