Terms and Conditions
Welcome to The Terms and Conditions for Artemis Stationery. These terms and conditions apply to the use of www.artemisstationery.co.uk and www.artemisstationery.com. By accessing this site and/or placing an order you are agreeing to be bound by these terms. Please carefully read these terms and conditions before placing any order with Artemis Stationery.
The www.artemisstationery.co.uk website is operated by Nathan Gardiner.
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
The content of the website and samples provided and stationery ordered from Artemis Stationery are for your personal use only and you may not download the content unless indicated, or copy, distribute, transmit, reproduce, publish or commercially exploit or create derivative work from the content of the website or stationery samples.
Unless otherwise stated the copy-right and all other intellectual property rights in all the material (including without limitation photographs and graphical images) are the property of Nathan Gardiner.
Artemis Stationery reserves the right to change the prices of our products. All products are charged at the price shown on the date an order is placed. All our prices shown are in Pounds Sterling.
Design and Copyright
All stationery, designs and artwork are the copyright of Nathan Gardiner. All rights reserved. Where you want to include poems, hymns or other material you are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use any material in your stationery. We advise you to speak to your Vicar or registrar before you ask us to include such material in your stationery as we cannot be held responsible for any breaches of copyright.
Stationery that features small parts and decorations are not suitable for small children.
Colours and images are reproduced as closely as possible but they may vary slightly from the photographs shown. Your final product will be more accurately reflected by our samples and your proof although final production may vary slightly.
Our stationery may vary slightly as it is hand finished and made to order. It is advised you take care when handling your cards and when putting them into envelopes. You stationery will be in perfect condition when delivered. Artemis Stationery cannot be held responsible for any damage caused subsequently after you have signed for them. Orders are subject to the availability of the component parts. Should any item be unavailable you will be informed and we will propose a similar alternative. We reserve the right to make substitutions to ensure the highest quality possible within the price quoted.
If you request a samples these are free except where a large quantity of samples are being ordered. There will be a charge which is refundable if you order that range. Samples will only be sent once payment has been received and cleared via paypal, banker's draught or cheque (made payable to: Artemis Stationery).
Booking your place in our diary
If you have decided on a design that you wish to order but do not need your stationery order to begin immediately a place in our diary can be reserved for a small deposit. For summer weddings this is particularly advisable as we are at our busiest in the summer.
To reserve your place in our diary please email us at email@example.com with your wedding date, stationery range or ranges, items wanted, quantities, when you wish to receive your order by and any further information you have available regarding your order. The booking must be confirmed with a £30 deposit (non refundable). We will contact you nearer to your wedding date to discuss your requirements in full.
If you have reserved production space and specified your chosen design the price becomes fixed on the date we receive your deposit. If you then decide to order a different range the current price of that range becomes applicable.
When ordering stationery we will ask you for all the relevant information needed to design your stationery such as the text used in your stationery, font choices and colours to use. We will send you the relevant colour charts so you can choose the colours best suited to you. At this stage we offer initial online drafts and proofing.
Proof copies of your personal stationery will be sent to you when you are happy with the online proofs and a 20% deposit for your order has been received. Once you are happy with the final proof and it has been signed and returned to us we will proceed with full production of your order once full payment has been received. Due to time restrictions only two amendments of proofs can be sent for approval, so please check carefully. All items remain the property of Artemis Stationery until paid for in full. Artemis Stationery cannot be held responsible for delays to delivery as a result of late payment.
You are responsible for making sure the text you send to us is as you want it to be printed. Artemis Stationery can not guarentee to spot any spelling mistakes or grammatical errors that have been made. If you do spot mistakes these can be corrected up until permission has been given to print the order.
Any changes made once proofs have been produced and the order has been signed off and processed will be subject to additional charges as notified from time to time.
There is a minimum order quantity of fifteen units for all initial orders. The only exceptions to this are menus (minimum five), table numbers (minimum four) and table plans (minimum one). Where invitations have been ordered once additional smaller orders have no minimum amount. If you would like to place an order but require less units than the minimum order please contact us. It is advisable when placing your order to adjust the quantities accordingly to ensure you have a small amount of stationery in reserve in case of changes to your guest list.

All Artemis Stationery orders will by the method described on the ordering page and agreed with each customer, delivery charges will vary depending upon weight, size of your order and delivery service requested. Any dates quoted for delivery are approximate. Artemis Stationery cannot be liable for delays in delivery due to the delivery service or other circumstances beyond our control.
Any issues with your order such as too few or too many of an item or the wrong item being sent must be communicated within 72 hours of receipt to us and followed by a written confirmation within 7 days.
All our orders are carefully packed to prevent any damage being caused in transit. Any damage must therefore be notified immediately on receipt of the goods. Once delivered responsibility for damage to or loss of goods shall transfer to the customer. This includes any damage that occurs when individual items are posted to your guests, this is not the responsibility of Artemis Stationery.
Cancellation & Faulty Products
If you wish to cancel an order you must notify us in writing immediately, quoting your order number to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you cancel before the full production of your order has begun we will keep the deposit which is non refundable but will repay the remainder. If an order has gone to production, we will not be able to offer a refund or exchange as all orders are personalized with your individual details and cannot be resold.
Any refunds or exchanges will be at our sole discretion and will only be made if the stationery is faulty or does not meet the specifications of your order. In the event of a claim for defective goods settlement will be limited to a maximum of the total value of the goods. Artemis Stationery does not accept any liability in respect of any consequential losses however they may be caused.
Artemis Stationery will not be liable to the customer or be deemed in breach of this agreement by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform any of Artemis Stationery’s obligations in relation to the goods, if the reason for the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond Artemis Stationery's reasonable control. Examples of causes beyond Artemis Stationery's reasonable control are as follows:
War or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition.
Act of God, flood, explosion, fire or accident.
Acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of governmental, parliamentary or local authority.
Import or export regulations or embargoes.
Strikes, lock-outs or any other industrial actions or trade disputes (whether involving employees of Artemis Stationery or of a third party)
Difficulties in obtaining raw materials, labour, fuel, parts or machinery.
Breakdown in machinery or power failure.
Any dispute, claims or proceedings of whatever nature between Artemis Stationery and the Customer in connection with or arising out of the validity, construction or performance of this agreement shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of The High Court of England and Wales, to which both parties irrevocably submit. The validity, construction and performance of this agreement shall be governed by English Law.
Artemis Stationery will not share any information that you provide with any third party. The information you pass onto us will only be used to supply the goods or services you have requested and to contact you when necessary concerning your orders. The information we collect may also be used and analysed to improve and develop our business.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
